This large Rustic Red Block Totem can be made-to-order. Note: the totem photographed is Totem #64 and has been sold and placed for a buyer in Great Falls, VA. Made-to-Order buyers can purchase an largely identical seven block stacked totem made of heavy, carved and joined-beam blocks. It is designed to install on an in-ground concrete pad. It stands roughly 83” tall and utilizes a series of gray, brown, black (burned), yellow, and orange undercolors, with a deep red stain overcoat. It incorporates several types of hardware and brackets and is sealed with a heavy layers of the highest quality marine varnish. Each of the blocks highlights the natural character and qualities of the wood and weighs anywhere from 25 to 60 pounds, relying on a centralized steel rod to maintain its formidable shape and necessary stability. This sculpture requires a significant amount of work and is priced fairly and accordingly. Adjustments to design and color combinations are easy to incorporate.
As already noted, this piece comes with free, in-person delivery and installation for addresses within 2 hours of DC, with additional nominal fees for greater travel distances.
