Modular, Randomly-Assembled Totem made-to-order in Shou Sugi Ban and Linseed Oil finish, based on 6x6 Douglas Fir blank. (Photos here are for the actual Totem #87 that was sold to a buyer in Carson City, NV.
Made-to-Order totems based on #87 will be issued their own number and will include free shipping. The totem will be modular in design and rely on the use of a centralized threaded rod, which makes for very easy and rock-solid assembly. Use of high quality marine varnish can be requested to further ensure long life in outdoor settings. The 30 lb. steel plate base can be left as raw steel or can be varnished.
Totem #87 is designed for indoor or outdoor display. In its current form, it stands roughly 75.5”.
Carved construction, arrived through use of a variety of power and hand saws and grinders. Sanded then treated with live flame. The Shou Sugi Ban treatment and Linseed Oil finish ensure weatherproof, bug-proof lifespan.
